LOWERING OF WATER LEVEL
FLEXIBLE NEEDLE FILTER SYSTEM
- Simple and fast installation/disassembly, and transportation.
- Due to the elastic material used in the production of needle filters, the risk of their damage during operation is minimal.
- Needle filters are connected directly (without additional connections) to the collection manifolds, thus maintaining a constant vacuum in the system.
- For work with needle filters, we use economical vacuum pumps that operate extremely quiet and the fuel consumption of which, with a vacuum pump capacity of up to 320 m3/h, is about 2.5 – 3.0 l/h, while the fuel consumption of conventional pumps is about 5.0 – 6.0 l/h.
- This system is inefficient in clay soils with water-saturated sand layers.
VERTICAL BOREHOLE SYSTEM
- Drainage of sufficiently large areas is possible with a relatively small number of vertical boreholes, so the system is very effective in draining large areas.
- If one or more of the pumps of the borehole system fail, the system does not stop working.
- It does not require much maintenance.
- It is suitable for all types of soil.
- It is one of the cheapest and most efficient ways to drain large areas (e.g., underground sites and construction sites, etc.)
- The system is installed/disassembled using mechanization, so this system is not as mobile as needle filters.
